Already in 1970, high tech machinery was present in our company, as our main activity was the manufacturing of precision small parts for mechanical, electrical and medical components.
 
One day, a group fly-fishermen friends asked the Lazzeri company to make some fly tying parts. Using its creativity and its exprience in the field, it designed a set of practical and functional tools that were able to meet the expectations of that group of friends.This is how the Lazzeri company started what became to be its main activity.
 
In the years that followed, it started business relationships with important companies in the field, starting a mass production of clamps and tools.
 
In 1986, in a growing and internationally active market, Lazzeri started creating and selling on its own a first collection of fly fishing items with the "POOL, research and technology" brandname .
Soon after, the Lazzeri brand name became a symbol for quality without compromise, that stood out for its design, its materials and its fly tying. This widened the company's horizons, as it started to export its products and dominating new markets. All this effort has been rewarded with success.
 
Today, the Lazzeri company is ready for the third millenium, rich with its thirty year experience and at the same time looking forward to meet the difficult challanges of a global market.
